Obscenities

Lucky Strikes and black coffee make love

inside your mouth, it is dark.

lungs colored death, teeth stroked

with dandelion petals—

how does rot taste like cherries

like the sun

like sex

your corrupted taste in breakfast

never ruined my appetite

I replace my egg for a smoke

stop pouring 2% in my brew

slip my tongue

into the void

to taste your rot

one more time
